The Ypsilanti Public Schools Board of Education met last week to approve contracts and acknowledge honorees. The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance being led by school children from Estabrook Elementary and Murl Eastman, a veteran of the Pacific Ocean Theater in World War II.
