Ypsilanti police officers Zachary Allen and Bradley Compton were patrolling in the vicinity of East Michigan Avenue and Miles Street last Saturday when they observed a man walking eastbound. As they approached the man, they saw him throw a baggie onto the ground. The officers, who act as the neighborhood policing team for that area, retrieved the baggie, which was found to contain eight rocks of crack cocaine. The man was arrested.
